Due to developments within the department, opportunities have become available for highly motivated enthusiastic Staff Nurses to join our team within the Day Intervention Unit.
Day Intervention is a multispecialty unit which consists of caring for patients attending Endoscopy procedures, Day Surgery, the Surgical Elective Admission Lounge and Interventional Radiology.
This post is for the endoscopy department within the Day Intervention Unit.
You must have a genuine interest in working within Endoscopy and join the diverse team of nurses within the great team. There are many opportunities within the department for ongoing learning and education within this specialty. There is also the opportunity to rotate to the other specialties within the department to further enhance your learning as a nurse.
Good decision making skills in clinical practice and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You must possess evidence of effective team working and excellent interpersonal
Skills, and be committed to patient focused care. Experience within nursing is essential for this particular post.
As part of the team you will be fully supported through mentorship, induction, revalidation and teaching programmes. In return you must be committed and motivated in your own professional development.
