Job description

Are you interested in a varied and rewarding career in a speciality area?

Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of people who have suffered devastating injuries or have complex neurological conditions?

We have an exciting opportunity for a enthusiastic and motivated Staff Nurse to work within the RBH team to help us do just that.

ABOUT US

The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is an independent rehabilitation centre based in Aylesbury, with an international reputation for treating patients with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, stroke and other neurological conditions.

Our flexible and intensive rehabilitation programmes use the latest technology and treatment methods to give patients maximum possible independence in the shortest possible time.

Regardless of the origin of injury, we aim to maximise any recovery and maintain health and wellbeing. Our person-centred approach ensures all care programmes are specific to each patient. All this incorporating family and loved ones, while combating social isolation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Staff Nurse at The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the personal needs of the patients are met in a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence.

You will co-ordinate the personal and nursing care of our Patients in line with the core values of the Hospital and to ensure that such care is delivered in line with the Patient’s individual care plans which reflect their current needs and rehabilitation goals.

You will attend MDT and goal planning meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary working across the Hospital, working collaboratively with colleagues, nursing staff and other departments in the pursuit of providing an outstanding service and experience for patients.

Varying contract hours available.

ABOUT YOU

We are growing our Nursing team and currently recruiting for skilled, dynamic, forward thinking RGN's that want to add value to a developing service.

We are looking for Band 5 & Band 6 nurses with a passion for caring, who can empathise and treat people with the dignity and respect they deserve. Experience in spinal cord injury is not essential as full training will be provided, the key thing is attitude, the desire to learn and be part of an excellent team.
