We are now recruiting an administrator to join our Platinum SSAS Team. The purpose of this role is to offer excellence in administration services for AJ Bell Platinum SSAS, our fully bespoke SSAS product.
The administrator will be responsible for a defined portfolio of SSASs, and will be the first port of call for all queries from clients and their intermediaries so it is a key role in offering our clients excellent customer service and as such is integral in the success of A J Bell.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering all cash flow transactions in and out of each individual scheme including transfers in, transfers out, pension sharing orders contributions, benefit calculations, loans and borrowings.
- Establishing new business and takeover cases including AML checks, eligibility and establishing new bank accounts.
- Responsible for properties within schemes including purchasing, selling and the ongoing maintenance and management of properties. This will include corresponding with solicitors, surveyors, lenders, property managers and HMRC.
- Responsible for non-property investments including purchases, switches and disposals.
- General administration duties to include carrying out annual reviews, processing and submitting RPSRs, answering client queries on all areas of the scheme, maintaining a diary and post system and ensuring work is produced within service level agreements.
- Maintaining a diary system in line with service level agreements and keeping spreadsheet and database records up to date.
- Ensuring that all compliance policies are adhered to including AML, Clear Desk, ID&V and Conduct Risk.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Customer service administration experience gained within financial services
- SSAS, SIPP or Pensions experience including property is essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Positive and confident attitude.
- Awareness of HMRC rules relating to pension schemes is desirable
- Awareness of commercial property and loanback transactions is an advantage
