Job description
Fremont CPA firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant interested in a long-term position leading to partnership. The candidate will have experience in Public Accounting with small business and high net worth clients providing exceptional professional service.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Taxation or Accounting;
CPA certificate or near completion of all CPA requirements;
7 + years of preparing financial statements and preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary income tax returns;
Experience with the preparation federal estate and gift tax returns and reporting foreign income for individuals and corporate clients is a plus.
Personal Skills:
Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of staff including the supervision and training of less experienced staff. The ability to communicate effectively with clients and the taxing authorities is a must.
Practical Skills:
Superior use of the MS Office suite of programs as well as QuickBooks is required. Use of the Ultra Tax family of software products will be a significant advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
