OVERVIEW
To facilitate the correct routing and loading of sugar through the Bulk Loading operation, and ensuring administration and delivery processes are completed in compliance with business requirements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete routing of sugar in line with refinery and production requirements and carry out bulk loading process to meet all internal and external customer requirements
- Complete required distribution documentation for loading and delivery processes and maintain required in-house business systems
- Work with 3rd party transport providers and other areas of the business to ensure prioritization of the bulk loading operations to ensure OTIFT targets achieved
- Provide distribution operational support for out of hours; specifically customer contacts, administration duties and STO order creation
- Ensure all Certificates of Analysis are properly completed and supplied along with other documentation for all loads leaving site
- Complete all Quality & Environmental checks and associated paperwork within the Bulk Loading area
- Run all Bulk Loading building operations, encompassing control system operation from the control room and manual field operation
- Fault find issues within Bulk Loading operation and liaise with maintenance teams to resolve if required
- Understand and operate safe systems of work i.e. Permit to Work (Inc. HWP and CSP) and TBRA
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- GCSE (or equivalent) C grades or above
ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)
- Experience within a distribution, logistics, process or warehouse environment
- An intermediate level of MS Office
- Experience with business logistics IT systems i.e., SAP, transworks, truckscale
- Data entry accuracy
- Strong Customer focus and results driven
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), internal and external facing
- Good team player
