We are looking for a Real Estate Manager to manage our global office portfolio and supporting our local businesses having the best possible workplace solution.

We are always striving for new ways of supporting our businesses, and this role will play a pivotal role as a part of our Workplace Creation & Operations team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage our global portfolio, focusing on lease event dates, working closely with our local businesses, if they identify a need for change in current office set-up.

  • Support our local teams, including legal teams in landlord disputes, arbitration, renegotiations etc.

  • Manage and support our global Real Estate partners during transaction execution, ensuring efficient solution to the LEGO Group.

  • Ensure all relevant internal partners are involved at the right time (Design, Project Management, HR, Procurement, Legal etc.)

  • Support our design team implementing our “LEGO Ways of Working” strategy

  • Ensure governance and processes are adhered to.

  • Reporting to relevant stakeholders, including financial statements, business cases, portfolio review etc.

The Real Estate Manager is an important part of our team, including designers, capacity planning team, Project Managers etc. who are all ensuring an outstanding workplace experience, and supporting the implementation of our overall strategy.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven experience in Real Estate and strong experience managing contract negotiations, both lease and freeholds and including strategy development on a transactional level

  • Teammate, who understand the importance of working with the internal project managers, facility managers, procurement managers, both at central and local level.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, and able to communicate at all levels in our organization.

  • Native level English Speaker

  • A high degree of flexibility as we are working across time zones and countries

  • Able to travel up to 30-40 days per year.
