Core Responsibilities
Co-lead on human rights and environmental due diligence processes in line with the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights and relevant OECD Guidelines as well as future legislation
Design and drive corporate and project efforts to manage human rights impacts and mitigation efforts
Ensure transparency in reporting and actions lives up to existing and future legislation on human rights end environmental supply chain topics
Collaboration including provide subject matter expertise for internal partners in Procurement and Licensing teams on all parts of sustainability helping to influence and drive our Sustainability Strategy
Acting as key input provider to Responsibility Report as well as internal and external presentations
Play your part in our team succeeding
The Responsible Sourcing team is part of Environmental Responsibility team. The team is responsible for defining the sustainability strategy for Social and Environmental supply chain topics and embedding sustainability into the wider business
The team further drives activities to decarbonization of the supply chain, due diligence activities as well ensuring that we live up to current and future non-financial reporting requirements.
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor's degree or higher, in any of the following subjects: Economics, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Business Administration or any other related field
Significant experience in managing social and/or environmental topics within retail or supply chains, for an international/global brand
You will be confident in mapping and assessing social and/or environmental risks and presenting this to key partners
You possess deep knowledge and interest in international human and labor rights, as well as environmental topics and a good understanding of Supply Chain and Procurement functions
Experience in leading and developing projects e.g. from management or sustainability consultancy where you have developed and ideally implemented business strategies and reporting models
You have an appetite for leading projects
You are well versed in establishing and maintaining connections and poses good presentation skills
You are experienced in working within global teams, understanding and mastering the cultural diversity
Some travel activity is to be expected
