Student Journey - Institute of Sport
This is an exciting Graduate Development opportunity for an enthusiastic University of Sunderland 2022 Graduate in Media or Sports Journalism who can plan, coordinate, and oversee the creation and publication of Team Sunderland and local sports content for SportsByte, the Institute of Sport's online website and magazine.
The successful applicant will have full editorial control over the look and feel of the site, along with allocation of stories to sub editors and writers.
It is essential that applicants have a good understanding of newsroom practices including experience of writing and editing content for a website and embedding multi-media content such as video and audio. They must also possess good communication and organisational skills as well as knowledge of social media platforms and media law.
Shortlisted candidates will receive an email inviting them to interview. We would like the successful candidate to commence employment week commencing 4th September 2023.
