
Sports Licensing Administrator - Topps International Milton Keynes, England
Job description
The Sports Licensing Administrator contributes to the approvals process with all contributing licensors across Topps’ global sports portfolio and with specific responsible for team-specific football products. The role interfaces with licensors to secure assets and between Topps internal departments, Brand team and Pre-press, to ensure accuracy of content and compliance with licensor requirements. This position reports to the Licensing Manager.
Responsibilities
- As directed by the Licensing Manager, contributes to the review and approval of Topps components by licensors, nations, agents, and contributors
- Working with product leads, serve as the Licensing point of contact and bears responsibility for efficient approvals of team-specific products
- Partners closely with Topps' Project Manager to ensure approvals are delivered within project schedules, proactively communicating with cross functional stakeholders
- Coordinate and maintain assets supplied by football programmes, ensuring their efficient and timely supply to meet project schedules
- Work with Editorial and Brand teams to review printer proofs and composed card sheets
- Ensure high level of accuracy in all Topps projects and the integration of licensor feedback
- Maintain accurate records of licensor feedback and project status, using Topps approvals software and team-specific systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the licensing team, recommending changes that will improve efficiency within the team
- Ad-hoc Licensing Tasks and support within the Licensing team
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
- Methodical in approach with a high attention-to-detail and superior level of accuracy
- Understanding of licensor style guides, uniforms, colors, logos and markings
- Strong aptitude for working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines on multiple projects
- The ability to build effective, cooperative cross-functional business relationships
- Demonstrates a high tolerance for ambiguity, with an interest in navigating a complex international business environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving and communication within the team
- Competent in all Microsoft office applications
