Holiday Club Assistant/Leader/Coach - Summer Holidays, Leeds area.

Pro-Coaching was founded in 2001. We are one of the leading suppliers of children's sports coaching in term time and during the holidays throughout the UK. We have a range of temporary holiday opportunities from Yorkshire down to to Cornwall.

We are looking for experienced and qualified Sports Coaches/ Teachers/Teaching assistants to deliver children's holiday courses over the Summer holidays at a wide range of locations. WE WILL ALSO CONSIDER STUDENTS WORKING TOWARDS GRADUATE LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS WITHIN THE SPORTS/EDUCATION SECTORS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Someone looking for a challenging, different, but hugely rewarding and fun job in the holidays, and looking to further their career in the education/childcare or sports coaching industry.

We are looking for reliable, punctual, enthusiastic, and motivational candidates that are able to lead or assist in the delivery of a range of sports activity sessions to primary and secondary-aged children during the holidays. Sports are varied and may include football, tennis, athletics, hockey, dodge ball, tag rugby, multi-sports, and cricket to leading team challenges.

Manage all administrative duties, including sign-in and out procedures, registration.

Deliver first aid if required

Plan, tailor and organise daily activities to suit the group

Communicate with parents in a professional manner.

Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, to ensure the sessions are a safe environment for staff and children.

Requirements:

Educated to N.G.B level 2 or equivalent (sports degree, PGCE PE or NVQ) in relevant field (ie teaching, sports coaching etc). Other equivalent qualifications (not sport specific) working with children maybe considered. We will also consider applicants working towards these qualifications.

First Aid -preferably Paediatric (this can be organised), DBS (we can apply for you) and child Safeguarding Certificate (we can give training on this). A full Uk drivers license is preferred but not essential.

Excellent communicator, with confident face-to-face customer service skills.

Good decision-maker, able to quickly assess and make informed judgements.

Proactive and conscientious, able to adapt to situations when required.

We have several venues available in the Summer holidays and will have further opportunities available at Christmas and 2024.

We offer very completive rates of pay. Coaching rates for holiday courses are from £12-£15ph dependent on skills, experience, qualifications and role.
