An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a pharmacy technician to join our clinical pharmacy team at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within our well established outpatient and day unit team, alongside the specialist pharmacists, to deliver a safe and efficient clinical pharmacy service to cancer patients. As this is a newly created role the post holder will also have the opportunity to develop and refine the role to enhance pharmacy services in this area.

To work in conjunction with the specialist cancer pharmacists to provide a clinical pharmacy service to adult and TYA cancer patients attending the systemic anticancer treatment (SACT) day unit including tasks such as patient counselling, co-ordinating medicines supply and trouble-shooting pharmacy-related issues.
To develop the role of a pharmacy technician within the BHOC outpatient and day case service to support the delivery of safe and efficient pharmacy services to cancer patients.
