In this role you will be working within the Business Field Service team, helping them to use the power of communication to make a better world for our customers, society and communities. Customer expectations are increasingly shaped by their consumer experiences, and having good customer service is integral in business operations. You will be ensuring any technical aspect is resolved to allow us to continue delivering the best service to our customers UK wide.
What you'll be doing
- Installing and repairing products and services.
- Conduct simple Wi-Fi and mobile signal surveys, recommending installation locations and install access points.
- Carry out simple, structured caballing.
- Give customers brief tutorials on BT services to ensure they are getting the most from our products (help them set up any apps they need on their device).
- Listen to any issues to ensure they are dealt with, by the right teams, appropriately, if it isn't an issue you can resolve yourself.
The skills you'll need
- Brilliant customer service skills
- Great empathy and listening skills
- Problem solving
- Recent, relevant experience within telecom engineering
- Experience working with Avaya IP office, MiCloud, SIP and assocaited CPE / gateways (desirable)
