Specialist Case Manager
Birmingham
As a Barclays Specialist Case Manager, you will be working in the Debt Service Team who deal with Life of Loan/ Letter of Variation including, limit cancellation, BBRE payments, Margin Ratchet reviews, Letter of Waiver & Reservation of Rights. Within this role you will be reviewing the sanction, production and issuance of documentation, fit to lend and drawdown activities for existing loans. We work closely with the various Operational / Legal areas.

What will you be doing?
• Acting as the single point of contact for Relationship Directors, and proactively managing end-to-end portfolio of BI lending cases
- Providing ‘best in class’ post sanction debt service processing support to Relationship Directors within a nominated region-client base
- Engaging with key processing areas e.g. Post sanction fulfilment, Controls, Collateral (Security) /Credit/Product etc. to ensure completion of cases end to end
- Making decisions to prioritise differing and demanding changes in client requirements, products and deal structures
- Establishing value add relationships with the Coverage Relationships teams and other specialists (incl. Credit Analysis)
- Producing bespoke Facility letter documentation, establishing fit to lend criteria, undertaking drawdown actions and tracking credit sanctions
- Co-ordinating with legal re non-standard facility condition and covenant wording and ensuring the correct execution of facility letter
- Offering technical input in connection with proposed security and liaising with processing areas to arrange preparation and execution of security documentation
• Proven experience in an Operations role within Lending/Debt Product
- Extensive knowledge of Internal lending and security processes and procedures relevant to Barclays Corporate client base
- Ability to develop and deliver on-going coaching & training materials to wider teams and stakeholders ensuring all ensure service excellence and quality is maintained
- Proactive management of a portfolio, providing first class service throughout the Client journey, with an ability to use and interrogate complex data
• Knowledge of legislation affecting Banks and clients (including the Data Protection Act, Consumer credit, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, Financial Services Act, Money etc
- Proficiency in the use of internal computer systems including Siebel, Zeus, Fullserve, GPT and any other appropriate platform applications
