Hartlepool Borough Council have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to join our team as a Specialist Nurse Perinatal & Infant Mental Health, as part of our Family Hubs development.
You will have significant experience of working in the community with families of babies and young children, and an underpinning knowledge of parent / infant mental health and the wider impacts of this on health and development. You will play a key role in developing family and relationship focused care which includes support to parents and partners, ensuring advocacy for families by providing both direct therapeutic and educational interventions to families, and a training & support role within both health visiting and wider services.
You will work as part of the leadership team, supporting clinical practice leads to ensure best practice standards are embedded across Hartlepool, improving health and tackling inequalities for children and their families.
You will be committed to delivering high quality evidence based practice, maintaining current knowledge of local and national policy drivers affecting the 0-19 population, particularly in relation to perinatal and infant mental health.
