Job description
Role Overview
- Develop and maintain the stocking plan for EMEA spare parts working closely with the global spare parts and field services teams. (Decide what parts to stock and what to order on demand).
- Calculate what quantities of the decided spare parts to stock and where to hold in the EMEA logistics network to meet Customer and contract service level requirements.
- Ensure spares inventory purchase requisitions and orders get placed to manufacturing (make to order) and to suppliers (make to stock) to keep the spare parts logistics network sufficiently stocked.
- Generate inventory performance metrics – weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually.
- Support the spare parts catalogue manager in the development of the spare parts catalogue and maintenance processes (Including master data clean up and implementation in ERP).
- Represent the EMEA spare parts supply chain in new product introduction and end of life process development (master data, demand forecasting, supply planning, purchasing, order management and logistics)
- Participate in the deployment of spare parts inventory planning and control tools and technology.
- Run and participate in various spare parts supply chain development projects.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning
- Strong analyzing, planning and project management skills.
- High independence and motivation
- Proficient in Microsoft office software especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal/external resources.
- Solid ERP software experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred: Business, Foreign Trade, Finance or Supply Chain).
