The Spa at The Merchant Hotel is currently recruiting for a spa therapists position.
Due to the Spa getting a lovely new extension we are looking for;
2 Spa Therapist positions of 24-32 hours per week
The Spa at The Merchant Hotel has been thoughtfully designed to create an environment to restore your physical wellbeing and promote spiritual and emotional harmony. Enveloped in a haven of tranquility, your senses are stimulated through sensual aromas, gentle music and wonderful treatments. Rate of pay is £11 - £11.50 per hour, plus excellent service charge paid weekly!
Whilst carrying out therapist duties you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional guest service
- Performing all treatments to a 5* standard
- Promoting The Spa at The Merchant Hotel
- Keeping all areas of treatment rooms to a 5* standard
Essential criteria for the position are:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Retail sales experience
- C.I.B.T.A.C
- B.A.B.T.A.C
- ITEC
- CIDESCO
Desirable Criteria for the position are:
- Beauty experience within the hospitality industry is desirable.
- HND beauty therapy
- Elemis or Voya training
- Experience with a 5 star environment
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Retail sales experience
The successful candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, experience of working within a busy team environment, possess the ability to promote services and products within the spa and the hotel and have a willingness to undertake in house training. You will also be fully flexible to work any weekends availability is essential.
