Job description
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting part time Parcel Sorters on behalf of our ever-growing client based in Warrington, WA3 area.
This role is physically demanding & can involve working unsociable hours depending on the demand. We’re looking for individuals that are flexible in their working approach as on occasion you may be asked to stay on after the proposed end time or start earlier.
We’re looking for someone that is comfortable with the below:
- Moving and Sorting parcels
- Unloading of HGV Trailers into the warehouse and placing onto sorting belts
- Segregating different types of parcels
- Operating sorting machines
- Sorting letters and packets manually
- Shift work.
- Safety awareness
- Sorting parcels into the correct loading areas from a belt using scanners & headsets
- Working in a team to safely load vans ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Following standard processes & operating procedures
Hourly Rate & Details of pay: £12.50 pay uplift July £13.34
Shift pattern: Sunday & Friday, 11pm – 7.30am
