OPERATIONS PROCESSOR (PARCEL SORTER)

FULL TIME - EARLY OR LATE SHIFT AVAILABLE

AVTAV are proud to be working in cooperation with DHL a global logistics company proving courier, package delivery and express mail services

• Role – Operations Processor (parcel sorter)
• Location – Colnbrook
• Shifts – Mon - Fri
• Hours Early shift -Mon 07.00am - 15.30pm / Tues - Fri 05.00am - 13.30pm
• Hours Late shift - Mon - Fri 16.00pm - 22.00pm (finish time can be Midnight at times)
• Pay between 08.00am -19.00pm: £12.31 per hour
• Pay between 19.00pm – 08.00am: £14.81 per hour
• Pay Saturdays: Additional £1 per hour
• Pay Sundays: Additional £2 per hour
• Pay OT: £18.47

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scanning and processing all incoming and outgoing parcels and mail
• Sorting parcels by hand into compartments on a sorting frame
• Observing Health & Safety Rules and keeping warehouse clean
• Bagging and labelling parcels for delivery

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
• Manual lifting of shipments is required
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• The ability to demonstrate great team work

Job Type: Full-time

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (required)
