Schneider Electric IT Corporation seeks a Solutions Industrialization Engineer in West Chester, OH.

Job Description: Responsible for standardizing and automating various manufacturing processes for production of prefabricated modular and micro data centers at the West Chester plant. Identify and lead big budget capital expense projects that are geared towards improving efficiency of manufacturing processes and facility upgrade. Work with Finance department to formulate return on investment analysis and prepare business cases to justify project budget and scope. Lead continuous improvement projects in cross-functional teams using Lean and Six-Sigma principles with the aim of increasing safety, productivity, and quality of operations. Responsible for tracking and managing plant production hours and hours allocated to run parts on different manufacturing equipment using Methods-Time Measurement (MTM) analysis. Collaborate with Quality and Safety departments to prepare process documentation such as work instructions for manufacturing processes, PFMEA, control plans and PFD. Work with offer creation processes by providing industrial knowledge and guidance to Offer Management and Marketing teams. Work on factory flows and drive improvements towards cost efficiency and quality excellence.

Requirements: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus one year of experience in a manufacturing environment as a manufacturing engineer or industrial engineer. Also must have experience in (1) Utilize Lean Six Sigma Methodologies/Techniques to drive productivity and efficiency improvements; (2) Utilize 5S best practices to drive discipline in the Manufacturing Processes resulting in improved quality; (3) Utilizing ISO Standards and implementation techniques to standardize workflows and drive quality improvements; (4) Engineering drawing and BoM Review techniques and processes; and (5) Project Management Experience: aligning manufacturing process to align to customer expectations.
