Summary
Sapio Science is seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Solution Architect (SA). You will join a rapidly growing team, that builds on our recent customer wins. You will be one of the first EMEA based employees with the opportunity to help shape our EMEA customer success organization.
An experienced SA you will be confident working in Life Sciences to successfully design our solution to the delight of customers. You will have deep knowledge of LIMS, ELN and, or SDMS products and their application within the Laboratory setting. You will become an expert in the configuration and deployment of Sapio Sciences products and use this knowledge to design each customer’s solution working closely with our Application Engineers to ensure a high-quality implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Sapio Sciences products and services.
- Work with the Sapio Sciences team to develop and deploy solutions for the customer.
- Work closely with the Sapio Science Business Analyst (BA) to understand the customers business requirements and processes.
- Based on customer requirements design the Sapio solution using an agile approach to define deliverables for execution by the Application Engineers
- Ensure that the identified customer requirements are met based on time, budget, quality and success criteria.
- Advise the customer on Sapio Science best practice to ensure that the deployment is best placed to succeed.
- Provide 3rd tier Support for customers subsequent to implementation of the configuration.
- Support Project Managers in the delivery of customer projects
- Act as a bridge between the Product team and the customer to ensure that any functionality works appropriately for the customer.
- Drive the Sapio Sciences agile deployment methodology.
- Document customer feedback and ensure issues are addressed to provide the best customer experience and ultimate success of the project.
- Work closely with the Sapio Sciences US team to establish scalable processes and methods of working across the Customer Success organization including supporting IT tools.
- Meticulously manage all SA related deployment services documentation

Essential Experience
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering solutions for either LIMS or ELN or similar complex software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Strong analytical, problem solving and fact-finding skills.
- Effective time management, and prioritization skills
- Proven organizational skills, with the ability to deliver agreed workload within deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
- A degree or equivalent in either Computer or Life Sciences
- Experience working within a Life Sciences laboratory.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid working environment.
- Good computer skills (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM Programs)
- Ideally knowledge of one or more of GWT, MySQL, Oracle, Tomcat, Linux, AWS
