Job description
Sojo In-House Tailor
Job Title: In-House Tailor
Location: Central/East London
Salary: £23k - £33k dependent on experience + Equity Options in the company
Terms: Full time/part time permanent contract
We are here to revolutionise the fashion industry.
Sojo is a clothing alterations and repairs solution for businesses and consumers and we are one of the leading start-ups in the circular and sustainable fashion space. We are re-imagining the clothing repair and tailoring industry by bringing technology and convenience to a fragmented and highly skilled sector that has been unchanged since the 1800’s.
We are a sustainability-driven business. Reducing the negative social and environmental footprint of the fashion industry (and the wider world) is the driving force behind what we do. The vision of Sojo is a world in which clothes, and the people who make them, are valued in the way they should be and overconsumption is no longer the norm.
Our approach to life
Empower those around you
We value people, their personalities and their experiences. We are fully committed to becoming a company that reflects the wider world, through the people who work here, those who we work with and those who support us.
Transparent sustainability
We understand that we live in an imperfect world: not everyone, ourselves included, can be constantly as sustainable as we would like to be. We can however act with the right intentions and celebrate when we get things right, just as we do not hide our failures and strive to improve ourselves.
Love the challenge
We strive to be the best version of ourselves, whether that is personally or professionally. We push ourselves to do the best we can.
