The Role

QA/Software Tester

Welcome to Oodle Car Finance, the engine behind the wheel of used car financing! We're revving up our team and on the lookout for a stellar Test Analyst to join our Customer Management Team. What you'll be getting up to:

• Oversee the end-to-end testing process, including test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management.
• Develop and work with Senior QAs to implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases that align with project requirements and business objectives.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and validate software functionality against business requirements.
• Design and execute manual and automated test scripts to validate system functionality, performance and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
• Communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders, including management and business owners.

The role will be a great fit if:

• You have strong experience as a Test Analyst or similar role in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience working with and testing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Solid understanding of automated testing, including test script creation and maintenance.
• Experience in a codeless test automation tool (e.g., Virtuoso, Provar, Ranorex)
• Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) - experience with performance testing and security testing would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential areas of improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
