ECI is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our globally recognized and award-winning culture and be part of our Distribution sales team in the UK. Our Sales Account Managers help our small and medium sized customers improve theirbusiness through a consultative sales approach. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing an existing client base and to independently generate, progress and close new system sales opportunities. Working as part of a UK remote, virtual sales network (travelling to our UK head office in Lincoln as required), you will need to be a driven and positive self-starter who is resilient, naturally curious and a team player. Responsibilities: Be responsible for the sales of products and services to existing Distribution users. Perform demonstrations and have consultative discussions with business owners and decision makers, educating customers on features and benefits of our products and services Use Salesforce.com to manage leads, opportunities, and activities. Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone or email Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed Consistently hit monthly revenue quota by actively managing leads generation from marketing, monthly webinars, other campaigns and your own lead generation activity. Manage accounts by helping to facilitate communication and problem resolution between customers, and other ECI departments. Conduct sales activities both within an assigned list of leads as well as independently prospecting to generate new opportunities Be responsible for the full sales cycle including identification of prospects needs, articulate how our solution differentiates from the competition, propose ROI, negotiate and win new business. Identify market needs for our solutions and communicate with Product Marketing and Product Development. Minimum Requirements: Demonstrates a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota numbers on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis Able to build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships within an assigned list of existing customer accounts. Able to position, quote and sell the value of our solutions to our installed base of customers Meet or exceed outbound touch call quotas on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis Mitigate churn risk with effective dispute resolution and by collaborating other departments when the need arises Acquire net new business Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is a driven and self motivated sales professional, who can create and own their own sales pipeline to meet targets and customer expectations. Familiarity with the Office Products and Distribution Industry is advantageous. You will: Have previous sales experience in the software industry Have experience and familiarity with the Office Product and Distribution industry. Understand sales methodologies and can evidence how these have supported previous sales achievements. Be organized and analytical with the ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Possess strong presentation and communication skills and can deliver web-based sessions (MS Teams, GoToMeeting etc.). Be proficient with MS Office and working with CRMs, preferably Salesforce. Be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in written responses to emails, RFPs and inquiries.
