Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Engineering Intern with the potential to transition into a Product Owner role. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineering and product management teams, playing a crucial role in developing and enhancing our digital platform. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on engineering experience while also developing product management skills within a dynamic and innovative organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering and product management teams to understand product requirements and contribute technical expertise
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of our digital platform using cutting-edge technologies
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of product specifications, user stories, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality features and enhancements on time
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Gain exposure to the product management process, assisting with market research and user feedback analysis
  • Contribute insights and ideas to the product roadmap based on technical feasibility and customer needs
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software engineering and product management

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong technical skills with experience in web development using modern frameworks and languages (e.g., Django, React, Python, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Basic understanding of database systems and SQL
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS services, is a plus
  • Passion for product management and a desire to transition into a product-focused role
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
