We send nearly two million people on holiday every year (not together) and were expecting to get to three million pretty sharpish. Why? Because were the only holiday company who truly gets why going on your holidays is the best week or two of the year.

What you'll be doing
We want to make every holiday special for our customers by providing them with a fantastic customer experience and helping them get in the holiday mood before they travel. We ensure that every element of the customer's holiday, from flights to free lounge, is booked and ready for them to enjoy. We strive to make it as easy as possible for customers to amend their bookings, whether they choose to bring more people along or just need extra leg room on the plane.
As one of our QE engineers, youll be expected to be a team player, be passionate about what you do and have a strong interest in engineering and quality practices. Youll spend time collaborating with other engineers and our product managers throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver new functionality and ensure our products are delivered to the highest standards.
Were evangelists of agile values and principles but each team is responsible for their own way of working, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. Were early in our journey with test automation, so youll be in an exciting position to drive what we have to greater heights while also helping us define new and better ways of testing.
You'll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience
- Expert knowledge of how to write good tests (including unit and integration), and the test pyramid (or testing trophy) is at the centre of your test strategies
- You are a curious engineer and love technology
- You are a software craftsperson and strongly believe in producing high-quality, resilient services
- You are collaborative by default and are a team player
- Work with TDD and BDD methodologies
- You are proactive in seeking out and evaluating emerging technologies and practices that can add value to the platform
- You are passionate about working in an agile environment
- Work with other disciplines including functional and non-functional testing, security, and API testing
- Focus on sharing knowledge with the team (youll help the engineers develop better, more relevant tests)
- Experience in one or more of C# / .NET Core / Node / Typescript
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (we use GitLab for both)
What to expect from our interview process
We will have a three stage interview process for this position that will consist of
30 minutes first-stage interview
Take-home task
2-hour interview split 1-hour competency, and 1 hour technical
OR
30 minutes first-stage interview,
1 hour - Remote pair programming exercise
1-hour competency-based interview

Ways of working
Our fulltime hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work.
