We're seeking web/app developers to join our team and help us create an immersive, interactive, and accessible Metaverse.As a web/app developer at Horizon Worlds, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with veteran game developers to build a world-class user experience. You'll be responsible for developing elegant interfaces, writing clean and efficient code, and contributing to the growth and scalability of the Metaverse.We're looking for highly motivated engineers who are passionate about building great user experiences. You should have a strong portfolio of work, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Software Engineer - Games - Horizon Worlds Responsibilities:

• Create users interfaces for web applications and apps
• Develop and maintain backend services
• Design, implement and optimize maintainable code
• Work effectively with partners and stakeholders to set and achieve optimal outcomes
• Write and maintain technical design documentation
• Work with your team and XFN partners to define and influence strategy.
• Drive engineering excellence.
• Annotate code with logging analytics for operational monitoring
• Debug and diagnose live problems

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience developing responsive web applications for multiple devices
• Create user interfaces using React, HTML5, Javascript and CSS3
• Understanding of patterns used for developing web applications
• Experience with REST/GraphQL and async web protocols.
• Data-informed product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc.
• Experience developing apps for iOS / Android

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS / MS in Computer Science or relevant work experience in software development
• Experience with version control systems
• Experience with PHP
• Experience with Unity / C#
