Job description
My client designs and manufactures special purpose machinery, supplying equipment to the Automotive, Hydraulic, Oil and gas, and the paper making industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be involved in the construction of new machine control programs using Microsoft C++ and Visual basic, plus administering existing code. The role will involve liaising with machine mechanical and electrical design engineers and customers producing software specifications and programs. Loading software to machines and carrying out debug and pass off procedures. Primary Skills required Programming skills in Microsoft software C++ and Visual Basic. Basic knowledge of machine control systems. PLC programming knowledge Understanding of electrical control diagrams and systems Understanding of PC hardware. PC Network setup and administration. Database development. Organized and methodical.
