Software Engineer – C#
Location – Crawley (With Flexible Hybrid/Remote Working)
The Role
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for the development of features and enhancements across the entire software development lifecycle – from analysing the customer’s needs, through design, development and testing.

Responsibilities – What success looks like.
Deliver a regular Product Increment
- Shape a new feature design with a technical lens
- Understand the functional aspects of the delivery and able to constructively discuss with the PO
- Responsible for the availability or a regular product increment incorporating new features
Complete all necessary tasks for the delivery of new functionality
- Application Architecture
- Design (against modelling standards (e.g. UML)
- Implementation
- Tests (unit tests, functional tests, performance test)
Implement Features:
- Define Test
- Develop Feature and associated automated tests
- If appropriate implement Security Tests and Load Tests
- Write necessary technical documentation
Implement Quality Standards:
- Decide and implement team level code quality standards (inc. Qualimetry)
- Ensure that delivered code follows code quality standards
- Apply software craftsmanship best practices (TDD, clean code, peer reviews)
- Apply configuration management practices (Git, Artefact Management)
- Are in constant learning and skills building posture
- Educate and communicate with the wider Thales UK community

Experience Required
We are looking to recruit at all levels so would be open to discuss opportunities with entry level candidates through to expert. If you have skills in C# we would love to hear from you.
