We have two offerings:
Yepic Studio lets companies create talking head videos in minutes by simply selecting an actor, and typing a script. Users can then generate thousands of video variations by replacing keywords with static or live data. Using our API users can easily integrate video into their workflow reducing churn and increasing engagement at critical moments in a user’s journey.
Vidvoice (currently in BETA) is the world first simultaneous translation service for Zoom that dubs your lips In real-time so that everyone can be a multilingual native.
vid voice is a state of the art video translation technology that builds upon CVSPP research excellence and expertise in 3d face modelling, 3d reconstruction, GANs and face animation. The technology is addressing the immense technical challenges of high quality, audiovisual synthesis of a talking face which has to respect the speaker's natural animation, emotion and correct timing in the target language. Video translation and conferencing are not the only applications of Vidvoice. It provides the perfect solution for film dubbing, multilingual computer games/cartoons as well as the potential for low bandwidth video communication and avatar content generation for the creative arts industry. About the role:
You will be working across our vidvoice.ai and Yepic STUDIO product to develop new APIs, integrations and scalable infrastructure.
In this role, you will be a deployment engineer in our team and as a result, you will have a critical role in developing the overall software engineering infrastructure and best practices. Your responsibilities will mainly include the development of a high-performance and scalable API system for video generation, the automation of internal processes and the integration of YepicAI’s product line with other third party services.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Design and build a high-performance API for video generation.
- Automate internal processes.
- Integrate YepicAI’s product line with other third-party services, i.e. Zapier.
- Work with the research team to integrate prototypes into the production environment.
- Architect and implement software libraries.
- Develop software engineering processes (design, build, quality, maintenance).
About you:
Required Skills:
- Demonstrable experience of developing commercial software from concept to distribution that can scale with an increase in user traffic
- Strong knowledge and experience of developing microservices systems
- 3+ years of Python experience (experience with async calls and web servers Django/Flask)
- 2+ year REST API experience
- 1+ year experience in dockerization and application deployment using Kubernetes
- Experience with Celery or other job orchestration systems
- Knowledge of Linux, VM machines, Cloud-based platforms and DevOps
- Experience of using various database platforms (SQL or NoSQL)
- Passion for engineering products, technology and AI
- Experience deploying in cloud infrastructures AWS, GCP
Ideally 2-3 of these, we don’t expect to find someone with all of these skills
- Software engineering experience developing scalable SaaS platforms around video streaming
- Passionate about working in a startup environment
- ML python knowledge (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras)
- BSc/BEng degree
- Model inference - Seldon Core, NVIDIA Triton Inference
