Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Software/Data Engineer to join a biotechnology research company based in Oxford. Our client is at the forefront of medical research and the application of real-world data for dementia and mental health. They have developed a SaaS platform that provides in-depth patient depiction, enabling their clients to perform quicker and more efficient clinical trials.
The Role:
You will be responsible for building out the backend infrastructure for all products. You will collaborate with AI scientists and other Data Engineers to ensure integration of AI models into existing systems and applications. You will also enhance AI model performance and scalability by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the data pipeline and workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain testing and deployment processes for AI models.
- Collaborate with AI scientists and other Data Engineers to ensure integration of AI models into existing systems and applications.
- Enhance AI model performance and scalability by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the data pipeline and workflow.
Experience/Skills:
- Experience with big data.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
- Experience with Python (essential), Rust, C/C++.
- Experience with Pytorch, Spark, Hail.
- Neural network knowledge.
