Join us as a Customer Due Diligence Platform Software Engineer

What you'll do
In your new role, you’ll engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure and robust solutions and work within a feature team, while using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that're often complex.
Alongside this, you'll liaise with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform to improve the resilience, scalability and stability of our event-driven architecture and the software components of our biggest software platform in the Financial Crime function.
Your top priorities will include:
- Producing high-quality, complex and critical software to add value to our business
- Working across the entire platform through varied technologies
- Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capabilities
- Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code
- Moving across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations
The skills you'll need
You’ll need a background in software engineering, software design and architecture and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.
Additionally, you'll know how to look across the whole system and be thorough in your approach when it comes to finding issues that may pose a threat to the ability of the system to grow and make sure customers are being protected against financial crime.
Furthermore you’ll need:
- An understanding of how to look at the data model and design as code and implementation
- Coding experience in multiple programming languages
- Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets and methodologies
- The ability to analyse problems and devise solutions and approaches, while tailoring your communication style for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience of working with code repositories, bug tracking tools and wikis
