About Naq Cyber
Naq Cyber is an international startup that provides an automated cybersecurity and compliance platform to small and medium-sized businesses around the UK and Europe. Naq is changing the face of cyber security with its diverse team and jargon-free approach to the traditional security and legal sectors.
About the Role
Naq is building a small, fast-moving development team to support the growth of the product over the next few years. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering (20 years of experience building platforms in various industries) this is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to become part of a team, build something cool, and learn a lot in the process.
We’re not necessarily looking for someone with a degree (although we won’t exclude people with one) and lots of professional experience - we’re looking for someone who loves what they do and is looking for a company to apply that trade (and getting paid for doing what we love is a bonus of course!)
We’re after someone with 2-4 years of hands-on experience building software with some or all of the tech stack below - the more the better. We are building out a team so can hire around gaps in skillsets.
- Web-based applications or APIs
- C# aspnet core
- Containers (Docker, Kubernetes etc)
- Databases, Postgres, MariaDb
- Angular (we’re on V13)
- HTML / SCSS
- Amazon AWS (Cognito, DynamoDb, S3, ECS)
- Any Product Design experience - making cool products that users love to use.
- A determination to find and fix issues, pragmatic problem-solving.
- A passion for clean, efficient, maintainable code.
We are based in Aldwych, London and have a Hybrid working environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
