ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
- Provides technical support for end users’ computers, applications, printers, phones, time clocks, key control devices, network and application connectivity, and cell phones/radio devices.
- Resolves and tracks end users’ software/hardware computer problems and work with end users to identify technology needs that will help streamline their business processes.
- Troubleshoots and maintains enterprise cash handling and credit card processing systems like Fabicash, Glory Systems and Kiosks, Everi kiosks and peripherals, Clover credit card processing, and Ditronics among other systems
- Troubleshoots and maintains enterprise point of sale systems and associated applications and peripherals.
- Does root cause analysis on persistent issues and produces suggestions and recommendations.
- Helps the enterprise maintain a good security posture by doing preventive maintenance on systems and actively troubleshooting security incidents
- Troubleshoots and maintains in-house built applications
- Installs and troubleshoots hardware and software. This includes, but not limited to, network equipment, computers, printers, phones, time clocks, and key control devices.
- Maintains phone system, including but not limited to moves, adds, and changes, along with occasional wire installation and system troubleshooting.
- Documents and logs all issue resolutions in the central knowledge base.
- Maintains inventory control for all hardware/software; maintains equipment organization to help expedite service.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Assists with the remote access process when vendors need to provide support for upgrades and troubleshooting issues.
- Troubleshoots network connectivity for property systems and maintain network wire management.
- Completes profile request administration for network and property systems; Add/change/modify end user access according to department and regulatory policy.
- Consults with vendors to improve customer service and reduce problems in the environment.
- Meets department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
- Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- On-call rotation duties to work remotely from home to cover any gaps in the schedule and escalate to department leadership when needed during outages or any other critical matters.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in computer technology or related field from four-year college or university; one to two years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- Must have a working knowledge of current Windows operating systems.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of networking fundamentals and Microsoft active directory administration.
- Must be highly proficient in termination of CAT6 cabling and wire mapping/tracing equipment
- Must have experience supporting current Microsoft Office suites, troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and operating systems, and performing computer imaging and restoration.
- Cisco IP phones, Micros POS, AS/400, and Konami SYNKROS support experience is preferred.
- Must contribute to team’s morale by following the in-house guest experience guidelines
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
