Job description
As a software engineer, the candidate is required to create, develop, design, test, implement and maintain software systems to meet the specifications of the clients. The software engineer is also expected to develop and design customised software e.g., games or apps for Android and IOS.
Entry requirements of this job:
The candidate is expected a degree or equivalent qualification although entry with other academic qualifications and/ or significant relevant experience is possible.
Tasks required by this job include:
· Building products for reliable information within Technical Infrastructure.
· Examining existing software and determining requirements for new/modified systems in line with the requirement of the client.
· To write codes for the individual programme according to the specifications of the clients.
· To develop user interfaces.
· To create/ design an app for android or IOS in line with the requirement of the client.
· To test and correct software programs in accordance with the specification of the clients
· To write code for specialist programming for computer games, (for example, artificial intelligence, 3D engine development);
· To implement and evaluate the performance of the software;
· To develop or conduct regular maintenance of the software.
· To provide operational and subsequent support and training to the users for the effective operation of the software.
