Job description
Checkout.com is one of the most exciting fintechs in the world. Our mission is to enable businesses and their communities to thrive in the digital economy. We’re the strategic payments partner for some of the best known fast-moving brands globally such as Wise, Hut Group, Sony Electronics, Homebase, Henkel, Klarna and many others. Purpose-built with performance and scalability in mind, our flexible cloud-based payments platform helps global enterprises launch new products and create experiences customers love. And it's not just what we build that makes us different. It's how.
We empower passionate problem-solvers to collaborate, innovate and do their best work. That’s why we’re on the Forbes Cloud 100 list and a Great Place to Work accredited company. And we’re just getting started. We’re building diverse and inclusive teams around the world — because that’s how we create even better experiences for our merchants and our partners. And we need your help. Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow.
The Merchant Experience team
This team is home to our merchant platform, including our client facing platform, and merchant account and configuration. Our mission is to provide our merchants with a delightful, secure yet compliant platform that allows them to make the best use of Checkout.com products. They also continuously work with other Checkout.com teams to expand our product suite and build interfaces for other product areas that bring their capabilities to life.
Our Merchant Trust and Care team sits under the Portals product group that is responsible for building an industry leading portal platform and providing an unique experience while serving reliable financial data to our merchants.
In order to thrive in a constantly evolving digital economy, merchants and their developers seek education, support and a partner they can rely on when thinking about payments. It's critical that The Merchant Care and Trust team provides timely and scalable solutions when a merchant is integrating, raising a request and processing payments, through self-serve platforms and delightful experiences.
The role
This is an opportunity to contribute towards the foundational work for our end-to-end merchant care and trust platform, get exposure to other areas of our business and shape future experiences.
At Checkout.com, we embrace the owner-operator model of work in which our teams are responsible for development, testing and operations and are now looking for a senior engineer to come join us and help us build great products.
Our tech stack consists of .NET Core 6, C#, AWS (Fargate; DynamoDB; Lambda; SQS...), Docker, Terraform, Elasticsearch, Grafana and Datadog.
