Salary: £39,316 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, mainly focused on coding and testing with the opportunity to progress into design and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, continually enhancing your skills
Your skills and experiences:
- A degree in a STEM subject or alternatively experience writing code in a professional development team
- Experience of software development in one or more of the following programming languages: JAVA, C/C++, C#
- Experience in using an IDE (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio) and software life cycle tools such as Git and Jira
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices
