Senior Software Engineer - .NET - C# - DevOps - Cloud - Remote - to £80K + excellent benefits
Are you an experienced Software Engineer seeking a challenging role where you can make a significant impact? We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and work on an exciting high-profile programme involving the rebuilding of a brand new platform.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving the success of the project. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to devise and design innovative solutions. Your expertise in .Net, C#, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Agile, and DevOps will be crucial in guiding the team through the entire software development lifecycle. The role would be majority remote with occasional travel to their Sheffield office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex software applications using .Net and C#.
- Utilize your expertise in Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) to architect scalable and resilient solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure effective project delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
- Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and operation of the software.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in software development using .Net and C#.
- Proven track record of working with Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Must have experience with DevOps and DevOps tools
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
