Trading at Flutter is the backbone of everything that our customers hold dear. The trading tribe are responsible for offering our customers that best chance of having a winning experience on our market leading brands.
This role will involve working with some of the brightest and best software engineers and Quantative Analysts to ensure that our estate and our applications are fit for purpose, compliant and functionally great. Squads consist of 5 engineers with supporting roles such as product owners, business analysists and delivery managers where you will provide QA support.
The Models squad builds, manages and maintains the ability for our traders to be give our customers a market leading experience. The squad own and develop the ability to cash out, build your own bets as well as providing hundreds of markets on which customers can bet on. As an SEiT you are empowered to drive standards, bring new ideas to the table and drive the overall efficiency of our products between multiple technical stacks. Your role in ‘better’

Your role in ‘better’

• Always champion for our customers; safer gambling must be a consideration at the inception of any projects you participate in.

• Create, maintain and execute test automation packs against multiple services, components and environments.

• Drive continuous improvement of quality and confidence in the applications you are responsible for by completing high quality test analysis and execution.

• Build and maintain strong relationships across teams to enable joined up assurance across the tribe.

• Monitor and increase the quality of test tools, frameworks and standards.

• The tools that we use include: Jenkins, GIT, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka

How you’ll create ‘better’

• Implement functional automated software testing using JVM (Kotlin) and Javascript using good industry practices and standards.

• Create innovative tools and frameworks which enable continuous improvement of our applications leading to best-in-class experience for all of our customers.

• Be part of a team of analysts, engineers and testers focused on the delivery of products in alignment with key business areas, supporting the tribes long term technology strategies.

• Demonstrate care for the security and integrity of the data that is passes through your applications as well as the portability, scalability and maintainability.

• You will join a community of SEiTs, Test Engineers, QAs and Software Engineers within the tribe and collectively work with the tribe’s Delivery/Engineering Managers to ensure that you are given the best support possible.
