Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Design and develop new applications
● Identify and implement CI/CD methodology and philosophies for existing and new applications and services
● Expand the team’s knowledge base on automation
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration
● Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
● 4+ years of development experience in Java or similar language
● 2+ years of experience automating Cloud-based applications and services
● Experience with Multi-cloud solutions - Azure, Google, Amazon
● Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery
● Experience with one or more of the following: AWS Cloud Formation, TerraForm, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef and Puppet
Preferred Qualifications
● 4+ years experience in Java
● 2+ years of experience developing infrastructure as code
● Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively
● Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA
● Experience with designing and architecting applications
● Experience with Linux, containerization and container orchestration like Kubernetes
● Experience with logging, metrics and monitoring tools like DataDog and Splunk
● Experience with the fuel business and transaction processing
