In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centres (Delivery Centres), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centres offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Understanding performance measurement & analysis methodology including load generation, profiling, and analysis tools
- Comfortable in a leadership role incl. experience with best-in-class whitewater DevSecOps pipeline and performance monitoring tooling
- Understanding of computer architecture fundamentals
- Detail working knowledge of at least one: Networking, Storage, Data Plane, Control Plane
- Proficiency with Agile way of working
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3+years’ experience as a C# developer.
- Experience of RESTful API design development and management; graceful error handling and logging; working within a continuous integration/ continuous delivery model; writing and managing unit tests.
- Systems integration experience.
- Comfortable with asynchronous programming patterns.
- Ability to write highly scalable performant and safe algorithms and code.
- Comfortable with Git version control
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Xamarin development experience (MVVM, MVC).
- Experience of taking business requirements and turning them into code; interfacing with external, third-party data sources and APIs; code quality tools such as SAST and DAST; developing software for a Cloud environment / architecture; working in a multi-disciplined, agile team using scrum delivery methodology.
- Debugging and diagnostic abilities.
- Familiarity with OWASP
- Ability to prioritise work and be self-sufficient.
- A curious and inquisitive mind; a willingness to explore a codebase to learn about it and challenge it.
