The S&A Academy are working with a rapidly expanding CRM Solutions organisation in High Wycombe to be their next software development apprentice. They have a track record of growing their own employees via the apprenticeship program and will provide training and mentoring throughout the software development apprenticeship.
What do we want from you as a software development apprentice?
You could have grown your passion for software development through your education, you could have maybe gained some industry experience through an internship. Self teaching code using resources like CodeAcademy or Udemy could have been another way you have developed your interest.
The apprenticeship is very much client based and consultative, we are looking for someone who has strong customer service skills and ability to understand what the client wants to deliver it.
What will I be doing in my software development apprenticeship?
No two days will ever be the same in this role, you will be providing CRM solutions to the company's client base and troubleshooting any issues that arise in order for their software to function.
- You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support for CRM software-related issues and changes. You'll handle inquiries received through various channels such as email, web, or phone, meticulously logging and managing them within our internal CRM platform.
- You will actively involve yourself in debugging applications, swiftly identifying system errors, and assisting in the rectification of issues.
- Ensuring timely resolution of requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) will be a key aspect of your role.
- You will be responsible for the installation and updating of software on customers' servers and client computers.
- Conducting basic remote end-user training for customers will be part of your responsibilities.
- Additionally, you will play a supportive role in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. You'll also create technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
