- Location: Near to Preston, Lancashire – hybrid role (non-negotiable)
This is a hybrid role, based between the offices near to Preston, Lancashire & home. Therefore, candidates MUST already live within a commutable distance of Preston, Lancashire. Relocation/visa sponsorship is not an option.
The role: PHP Software Developer
About you:
- You’ll be a strong PHP developer with proven MySQL/MariaDB and object-oriented development skills
- You’ll have expertise in using frameworks and MVC architecture to create web applications
- You’ll be proficient with HTML5, SCSS/SASS, CCS3, JS, jQuery and Bootstrap
- Git version control (particularly on CLI) experience is required, as is the commercial use of phpMyAdmin and general database administration (Linux)
- Ideally you’ll have an understanding of SOLID and design pattern principles
- Experience building and integration REST APIs, implementing concepts such as AJAX and JSO
- A sense of humour is paramount in this role; as are coffee drinking skills & communication skills, technical and layman-terms
