Job overview:
Our Software Engineers work within cross-functional teams to design, build and maintain solutions within our eCommerce Marketplace platform. We utilise modern development practices to deliver high quality and scalable change.
Your role will involve:
- Developing and maintaining features that deliver value to our customers and OnBuy
- Collaborate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from early requirement discussions with a Product Owner to deployment to our production environment
- Support and mentoring of the less experienced developers in the team
- Continually striving to improve what we do and how we do it
Requirements
We’re looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience building web applications using PHP, Laravel or other MVC framework, and JavaScript
- Experience creating RESTful web APIs
- Couchbase and Solr experience essential (for this current vacancy)
- Ability to write clean, well-designed code that follows SOLID principles
- Experience developing and deploying solutions to GCP (or similar)
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- MySQL experience

Benefits
The salary range on offer for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
In return for helping us to grow, we’ll offer you company equity. That’s on top of your salary and in addition to our other benefits.
