Are you a skilled Analyst/Developer with expertise in Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, PowerShell, and knowledge of the Windows Operating System? Do you have a strong understanding of Banking and Regulatory principles.

This is an initial 4 month FTC with scope for further longevity.

You will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, documentation, and maintenance of branch-developed applications ustilising your Visual Basic and Access experience. Your role will involve following a comprehensive project cycle to ensure successful development tasks. Your key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain pre-study documents, business requirements, and system requirements.
• Work with internal and external teams to estimate project resources and costs.
• Obtain necessary authorizations from the business for project initiation.
• Create a detailed project document outlining all activities involved.
• Develop activity plans for construction, acceptance, and rollout phases.
• Design and implement data flow charts for efficient application performance.
• Consider Disaster Recovery (DR) requirements and ensure replication at the DR site.
• Regularly provide formal project status reports to stakeholders.

• Formulate comprehensive test plans for both business and IT teams.
• Coordinate and consolidate test results from various teams.
• Obtain sign-off on successful application testing.

• Plan and execute application rollout in collaboration with all involved parties.
• Provide assistance during installation and conduct user training.

• Create end-to-end operational process flows using flow charts (Business and IT).
• Develop manual fallback procedures for automation failures.
• Announce and document bug fixes and any changes made.
• Ensure effective database management for smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, PowerShell, and Windows Operating System.
• Knowledge of Banking and Regulatory principles is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management abilities to oversee end-to-end development.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
