Job Description
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
- Main focus of this role would be developing software based on defined Requirements and SW design/architecture using C++ on Linux/QNX environment
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
- C++ based development on Linux / QNX environment
- Issue Analysis/debugging using tools like gdb
- Unit testing the code developed
- Code reviews with peers
- Static/Dynamic code analysis (valgrind)
- CPU/Memory optimisation
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Mandatory:
- Automotive domain experience (Infotainment / Telematics)
- C++ Development Experience on Linux environment
- SW Design experience
- Experience in Service oriented architecture (SOA)
Desirable:
- Client/server architecture
- Experience with Microservices architectures, RESTful APIs and message queues (MQTT) and transfer protocols (https)
- Experience with SOME/IP based communication
- Experience with source code management and version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
- Knowledge/Experience in implementing Cyber security standards
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: From £450.00 per day
