Automation Engineer
Initial 6-month contract role
Remote position
£575-£625, inside IR35
ECS Resource Group are currently recruiting for an Automation Engineer who will be a key role in a project to work on integrating a variety of enterprise systems with their internal automation platform.
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Engineer, develop and design improved automation products to increase efficiency, improve customer experience and reduce time spent undertaking tasks.
- Write development code, understand a DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline, and build automated test scripts (for infrastructure products and upgrades) and build automation interfaces between systems.
- Work in self-organising, flexible global teams following Scrum Agile
Proven skills and experience to help succeed in this role include:
- Software Development background.
- Comfortable working with a range scripting and/or programming languages - Python is the main languages, but knowledge of Software Engineering is more important than specific languages.
- Strong experience working with APIs.
- Strong s’ experience working with automation and deployment technologies.
