What you’ll be doing

BT works with software providers to deliver the systems and services that underpin how we do business, ensuring we have strong commercial relationships and clarity of business benefit, value and future needs is essential to our continued success.

You will be enabling the Digital strategy and plans to be delivered as the role will own, define, drive and deliver key elements of the Digital Software & Service strategy, including 10 year partner lifecycle models, partner strategic workforce management, contracting model, measurement, insight, benchmarking, innovation and transformation to maximise investment value.

You would also implement the Digital software and service partner policies, guidelines and transition plan that leads to a consolidation of our partner landscape, fewer hand-offs leading to improved performance and quality outputs. You will track supplier spend across the units and ensure we come in on track to meet our budget commitments.
You will collaborate with Architecture and Delivery Units to develop the service and application roadmaps to enable partner commercial and capability transformation against the Digital vision and strategy. You will run the in-life Supplier Relationship Management process, inclusive of the end to end 360 engagements for BT with the Partners.
You Should Apply If You Have Experience in the Following
  • Stakeholder Management: Able to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and facilitates mutually beneficial negotiations to develop solutions, ensuring they meet current and emerging business and technical needs
  • Commercial acumen for financial and commercial negotiation and full TCO analysis over medium and long term with internal and external factors.
  • Ability to navigate and interact with many teams across multiple CFU’s: drive collaboration and negotiation
  • Excellent communicator capable of engaging and influencing leaders across all Digital and external partners
  • Data first mindset, defining a sustainable ecosystem to manage, manipulate and provide insight and information to all of Digital on a self-serve basis.
  • Change delivery: Able to define and implement long term changes and adapt for the optimum solution.
  • Feel the BT Digital Way principles apply to you and how you work
What You'll Need
  • 2+ years Supplier Relationship Management experience with large software providers
  • 2+ years stakeholder management & collaboration
  • 2+ years strategic thinking and commercial acumen
