Society Café is a small independent group of Speciality Coffee shops based in Bath, Bristol, Oxford and Cheltenham.

Our Bath Kingsmead Square shop was where Society was born in 2012. We quickly became a hub for not just the discerning coffee drinker but for those seeking a comfortable and relaxing space to chill, work, read, meet, play games, people watch, soak up the sun and and soak up the atmosphere and life of Bath, we became what we set out to achieve - a place for everyone. We are truly grateful to all our customers and all our teams over the years that have made this dream possible.

The right individual will need to possess huge passion, energy and a genuine desire to offer the very best possible experience to each customer that has chosen to visit us.

This role will be a hands on role on the shop floor overseeing an exceptional level of customer service and quality coffee offering.

You will be working with the very best equipment and the very best products. Our coffee machine is a La Marzocco KB90 and we use Mythos grinders, Mahkloenig E80 and EK 43 for our filter offerings.

Our House coffee is roasted bespoke for us by Origin and guest coffees come from roasters all over the world and change regularly keeping for an exciting offering for both customers and the team.

We are in the process of fitting out a new shop in Bristol which is due to open at the end of August and are about to start work on a site in Cheltenham which will open in late September 22.

For the right candidate this role could have real growth potential.

Essentials for the role:

- Minimum 1 years experience in Speciality Coffee

- A genuine desire to offer the very best possible experience to everyone that comes in the door

- Full availability

- An obsession for perfect attention to detail

Desirable for the role:

- Relevant SCA accredited coffee brewing knowledge

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Working shifts on the shop floor

- Overseeing the highest standards of service and attention to detail

- Being aware of and understanding the importance of the energy and atmosphere on the shop floor

- Health and Safety/Food and Hygiene
