Speciality:

To ensure permanency plans are supported to the highest standard whether it is for Fostering or Special Guardianship Orders

1 . To undertake assessments of potential Foster carers and produce relevant reports for Fostering panels and court
2. To provide support to Foster carers and carers providing WIR arrangements in line with the relevant Regulations and Standards
3. To carry out robust matching activities and to support permanence arrangements for Merthyr Tydfil children
4. To provide a family finding service for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth families.
5. To participate and, as necessary, assist in the support, development and retention of foster carers pre and post approval
