Fostering Social Worker needed with West Sussex County Council
Start Date- ASAP
Location - Horsham
Duration - Initially 6 months
Hours per week - 37 hours per week
Salary - Up to £42ltd per hour
Description:
- Fostering social workers are required to complete the kinship assessments and your role will include completing Initial Viability Assessments, Special Guardianship Order Assessments for Court, and Connected Persons Assessments for Fostering Panel.
- As a fostering and adoption social worker you will need to have comprehensive child protection experience to be able to oversee the balance and assessment of risk.
- Fostering and Adoption social workers will need to work collaboratively with other areas of Children's Services and professionals involved in the care planning process of a child's life.
- West Sussex require a fostering social worker who is emotionally intelligent, organised, resilient individual who is able to work to Court and Fostering Panel directed deadlines whilst ensuring the highest quality of assessment, and also effectively balancing the demands of working on a number of different assessments at the same time.
What is required?
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Previous experience within Children's Social Work specifically in adoption or fostering
Working as a Qualified Social Worker with Service Care Solutions
- We will pay you £150 after 4 weeks in an assignment if you have not previously worked with us
- We offer £250 for every Qualified Social Worker you refer over to us
- (£150 after 6 weeks in the assignment and £100 after completing 12 weeks)
- We will offer £150 to you for sourcing your own job and referring it to Service Care Solutions
- We will pay up to £250 each year to help with your Continuing Professional Development
- We will pay a "thank you" bonus to you after each 12-month period you complete with Service Care Solutions
